I attended a seminar last year about mindful laughter. The speaker had the audience stand up and purposefully laugh out loud for 1 minute. Yes, this sounds silly and I'm sure we looked even sillier. However, what a way to feel connected and have fun! Laughter lowers the stress hormone and strengthens the immune system. The average 6 year old laughs 300 times a day whereas the average adult laughs only 20 times a day. One way that I keep laughter in my life is by watching Ellen!
